「風の森 II Forest of Wind 2012-?」を札幌芸術の森に隣接する関口雄揮記念美術館（南区）の前庭で6月9日から開催します。本展では75基の棒状オブジェを新緑の芝生に設置します。「風の森」は、発泡ウレタンとFRPを素材にした棒状オブジェが、風の力で不規則に揺れ動くインスタレーション作品です。上部木口には蛍光塗料が彩色されており、風で揺れるとその木口が見えるというもの。今年の冬のスノースケープモエレ（モエレ沼公園ガラスのピラミッド周辺）に200基のオブジェを設置しました。 純白の雪原から夏の緑の芝生に舞台を移し、風に揺れるオブジェの設置された美術館前庭の景色をお楽しみください。

Clark Gallery + SHIFT is pleased to announce the garden installation show entitled “Forest of Wind II” b Toshihiko Shibuya who has been creating artworks aiming for a resonance to a place will be held from June 6th to August 19th at outside of Yuki Sekiguchi Memorial Museum, neighboring Sapporo Art Park. 75 objects will be placed on green grass at the exhibition.
Toshihiko Shibuya is an artist who continuously challenges the representation of this unique snow country with his new art. His ambitious work which is introduced at Art Fair Kyoto 2012 has been attracting attention in both local and abroad.
“Forest of Wind II” is the installation artwork that objects bars move by urethane foam and FRP shows different kinds of movements by the natural wind. As the top of the bar is colored fluorescent, when the wind is blows, we can see the colors of the cut end of the object. 200 parts of this project was set in park Moere and show beautiful colors on top of the snow in the last winter.
Next to the snowfield, please enjoy the landscape that these object moving by the wind on the green grasses.
